July 24, 2023- …and the walls are established just as a family of believers stand together. These walls begin the structure of a sanctuary which the Lord inhabits. It is not a wall of separation, exclusion or imprisonment, but one of faith, salvation and glory. A wall with open doors for visitors to come and encounter Jesus.
Pastor Appreciation
October 9th is Pastor Appreciation Day- a time for congregations to formally recognize the work of their spiritual leaders. The Young Adult’s class honored our Pastors of 17 years with breakfast and fellowship. At Hillister Assembly, we are blessed with Pastors who fulfill the Biblical role as demonstrated by our Lord.
Thank you for your dedication to the Kingdom of God and His people.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

Branson Trip!
On October 3rd, this group left for Branson MO with First Class Bus Tours. Although Hillister Assembly of God has taken many trips to Branson, this particular trip took the cake! The week of festivities was full of laughter-from good fellowship, tears- as we watched “The Story of Jesus” at Sight and Sound Theater, music and entertainment from the shows and lots and lots…and LOTS of GOOD EATIN’! Nothing like a good getaway with church people to renew the spirit and heart of a church family and its members.
